NZ curators visit New York
In May 2025, Aotearoa New Zealand curators Zoe Black and Israel Randall visited New York as part of the collaborative delegation programme between the Indigenous Curatorial Collective (ICCA) and the Pātaka Foundation, with support from Creative New Zealand. Read their report of the experience.

Limited edition prints for sale
Get in quick to purchase one of only 100 prints by artist Jasmine Togo-Brisby. All proceeds will help fund an ambitious publication that will accompany Jasmine’s upcoming Pātaka exhibition. “Jasmine Togo-Brisby: ungeographic” opens on 26 July and runs until 9 November 2025.

International Indigenous curators’ exchange
The Pātaka Foundation has entered a partnership with the Indigenous Curatorial Collective enabling three New Zealand curators to travel overseas for the next three years as part of an international indigenous curatorial exchange.

Pātaka 25th anniversary gala and book
The Pātaka Foundation held a flamboyant gala event to celebrate the 25th birthday. It also funded the book, “Ka mua, ka muri. Looking back, moving forward: 25 years of Pātaka”.

Yuki Kihara at the Venice Biennale
The Foundation supported artist Yuki Kihara to represent Aotearoa New Zealand at the 59th Venice Biennale. The Foundation was a key partner and “Pavilion Sponsor” for NZ at Venice, 2022.
